laidz tapsilogan

My mom's tapsilogan is finally up. After almost 20 tries at the DTI to register our preferred business names, we ended up using my mom's name for the business. Well, at least she's happy with it.

Layout for Tarpauline

Finally! My PC is working again! sigh.. When i tried turning it on the other day, there was no display. Good thing i was able to borrow an extra power supply to isolate where the problem is. Had to replace 4 capacitors from my power supply and it turned out that the fan of my video card is busted too and probably the reason why my power supply bogged down. Just came back from Raon to buy the fan and installed it.

I was able to upload layout for the tarpauline printing. I used Corel to crop the images and then used yellow and red as background for the print. A friend of mine printed these for me for FREE! ( i hope so :) ) Just got them the other day.

This will be displayed on top of the foodcart. Still thinking on how to do the frame though.

I'll just use ordinary plywood for this one. This will be displayed on the body of the cart.

Will post actual pics of the cart and the prints when done. Am excited how these will look like. The pictures look yummy enough for me :)

Still thinking of a name for this foodcart business...

Pictures for Tarpauline printing

We have a small stainless steel foodkart which we use to sell streetfoods in the subdivision. It opened a month ago and is doing quite good. I want to promote it more to people walking by so i've decided to print pictures of the food to attract more people.

Here are the pictures i took. I still have to edit them and create the tarpauline material though. I hope they are yummy enough to make people stop and order. :)

Business Conception

Food business is both stressful and exciting. Now, i've decided to try opening a small business for my mom. She just retired from being an educator.

I've been doing research on what to put up inside a small subdivision since it doesn't require much money to put up. There's not much market but i wanted to see how people will accept the food. I wanted to share our love and passion for food to the people.

And so, Tapsilicious was born. It will be serving the famous Filipino meal "tapsilog". Tapa (beef), Sinangag (fried rice), and Itlog (fried egg). Along with other "silog" recipes.

Haven't started the business yet. All i have right now are concepts and the excitement to start serving good food to people.
